Coconino Community College - Flagstaff

Content Creation Lab: Plan, Capture, Post

with Caitlin Cullen

$55

This course provides a practical introduction to planning and creating short-form social media content for small business owners, freelancers, and community organizations who want a clear, repeatable way to show up online. Students will evaluate common content formats and performance drivers, complete a quick audit of their current content, and define simple “do/don’t” guidelines. Students will build a repeatable content plan, including three content pillars, at least one series, and a realistic workflow. Students will leave with 4–6 ready-to-post pieces of content, a reusable editing template, and a 2–4 week posting cadence designed to support consistent visibility and help turn content into clients or customers. Students should bring a smartphone capable of recording video and be able to download apps, such as CapCut, TikTok, and Instagram.

Caitlin Cullen is a Flagstaff-based content director and strategist with 10+ years of experience helping consumer brands and small businesses build content that’s clear and consistent. She currently leads Content & Community at GoodPop, where she guides brand storytelling across social channels and community initiatives. Previously, she has developed content strategies and creative for major brands including Tinder, Meta, Nike, Levi’s, and wellness brands like Dose. Through her consultancy, Caitlin partners with founders, freelancers, and small teams to turn big ideas into repeatable content systems: defining pillars and series, building workflows, and creating practical templates that make posting sustainable.
