This conversational Spanish course is designed for learners of all levels who want to build confidence speaking Spanish in a supportive, engaging environment. Whether you are a beginner just starting out or an intermediate student looking to strengthen your fluency, this class emphasizes real-world communication through interactive activities, guided conversations, and culturally relevant topics. Students will practice listening and speaking skills, expand vocabulary, and review essential grammar in context, all while connecting with others and enjoying the process of language learning. The course is ideal for those who want to maintain and improve their Spanish in a relaxed, community-oriented setting.

Katie is a Spanish instructor at CCC with a passion for creating meaningful, student-centered language learning experiences. She aims to create an environment where students feel supported, motivated, and excited to learn. Katie specializes in communicative approaches that help students feel comfortable using Spanish in real-life situations. She holds a Master of Arts in Teaching Spanish from NAU and has taught Spanish to all ages for the last 15 years.

This class meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning Oct. 6 and ending Oct. 29; from 5 to 7 p.m.
