We all grew up with this timeless classic sandwich; this class takes it to the next level! Each participant will make four different grilled cheese sandwiches that appeal to grown-up tastes. The class will feature ingredients that will bring the class to new and uncharted territory that will offer something for every taste. We will also discuss the best cheeses and bread combinations and tips on the best cooking techniques. Enjoy a sandwich with the group and discuss, and you will have three more sandwiches to bring home! Your class fee includes all supplies and materials...just bring your appetite and taste for something new and exciting!
Wally Rande is both a culinary school graduate and a culinary school chef instructor, with over 12 years of experience managing commercial kitchens and working as a chef in restaurants. He has taught for over 30 years in the renowned School of Hotel & Restaurant Management at Northern Arizona University. As an Associate Professor he has developed and taught classes in management, leadership, customer service, tourism, human resources, cooking, and beverages. He has multiple degrees in Educational Leadership, an MBA, Hospitality Business and Culinary Arts. He has also certifications as a Level 1 Wine Sommelier, and Level 1 Beer Cicerone.
