This interactive workshop is designed for early- to mid-career professionals seeking to advance in their careers. Participants will learn how to:

• strategically approach their job search,
• craft targeted, results-driven resumes and cover letters,
• prepare for interviews that clearly communicate their experience and value,
• gain tips and techniques to conduct employer research,
• explore best practices to write a resume and cover letter that highlight their knowledge, skills, and abilities,
• understand the key elements to a successful interview, and
• learn how to position their work experience for new opportunities to navigate today’s hiring landscape.

Katherine Sánchez Meador brings over 25 years of public sector experience focused on employee development, leadership training, and professional growth. She designed mentoring programs, facilitated workshops, and supported workforce development initiatives to help individuals advance in their careers.

During her time with the USDA Forest Service, she led more than 130 national-level projects, supporting efforts across the Pacific Northwest, the Four Forest Restoration Initiative (4FRI), and national leadership curriculum development. She served as a partnership coordinator, facilitator, team leader, and ecosystem management instructor.

Katherine is passionate about helping professionals grow and is excited to share practical strategies to support participants in achieving their next opportunity.
